What personal data do we process?
We process personal data that you provide to us directly, or that is automatically generated when you use our services:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Phone number (if provided)
- User profile in the Alenas Trading app (username, profile details)
- Other data you actively provide via correspondence, the app or our Telegram channel
We do not process bank details, VAT numbers or Chamber of Commerce numbers of users, as our services are completely free and we do not process payment transactions.
How do we obtain your data?
We obtain your personal data directly via:
- Registration on alenas.nl or alenastrading.com
- The Alenas Trading app
- Email correspondence
- Our Telegram channel
- Social media
Why do we use your data?
We process your personal data solely for the purposes listed below, on the basis of the corresponding legal grounds (GDPR, Article 6):

We do not retain your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:

Sharing with third parties
We only share your personal data with third parties when this is necessary for the performance of our services or when we are legally obliged to do so. We enter into data processing agreements with all processors who process personal data on our behalf.
We do not share personal data with parties outside the European Economic Area (EEA) unless appropriate safeguards have been put in place.

Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

Send your request to info@alenas.nl. For verification purposes, include a copy of your identity document and black out your photo, BSN/citizen service number, MRZ and passport number. We will respond within four weeks.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, unauthorised access, disclosure or alteration. This includes encrypted storage and the use of security software.
If you suspect that your data is not properly secured or you have indications of misuse, please contact us immediately at info@alenas.nl.
Data breaches
In the event of a data breach, we will immediately investigate its nature and scope. If the breach poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will report it to the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours. Affected individuals will be notified if the breach may have serious consequences.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country. In the Netherlands this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl). We would appreciate it if you contact us first at info@alenas.nl.
